Omir Santos is the son of owner Omir, who brings a lot of experience behind the plate and a lot of power from the left side. Omir has been around the game at a high level for many years and with a dad as a former MLB catcher he knows the game very well. He has been playing up an age group for the last three years and has gained a lot knowledge from TC coaches. With a live arm and great receiving and blocking skills Omir also pitches and plays first base. Number 9 will be celebrating his 11th birthday later this month.
What an amazing weekend for the 12U Lions in the Georgia Fall State Championships. They played some highly talented teams that had scouts for high school and college looking at them and they battled with every team. The Lions went up against some power hitters and hard throwers but they didn't back down. TC lost a tough one in the semi-finals. We will get back to work and in 2018 we will be back to capture the championship. GO LIONS!!!!!
